Picnic Table consists of a low table with storage and two platform seats. The seats can be stacked on top of the table, but due to the weight of the assembly and its parts, positioning is dependent on the context and location of a permanent installation. Picnic Table is for picnics as a kind of ritual, intimate meetings between two people, a communion to be revered as sacred, its participants gathered around a monument to the shared experience.
