Prototypes for Functional Objects is an ongoing series of 3d printed sculpture.
Each geometric shape is a character within a larger system, an individual within the larger collective. Each character is designed to sit comfortably in the hand and placed in an orientation of the user's choosing. The characters do not have tops, sides or bottoms. The only true function present is that the objects are to be held, handled or set down. The way in which that happens is completely up to the user. The objects are ritual objects, fidget toys, and sculptures.
